Now I'm working on another special request. Slippers. I'm using a Paton's pattern for slippers. The same ones that my Oma used to knit for me and probably the same ones that many grandmas knit for their littles. :)
I'm using two strands of my hand-dyed worsted weight in superwash wool for these. They'll be cushy warm as easy to toss into the washing machine when needed.
Enjoy!
Lol...I love that you at using Superwash...aren't you the same person that called Superwash the closest thing to acrylic, LOL! Every yarn has a time and place, so I'm happy you are using it...if I make anything that needs little care and lots of wash...Superwash it is.
ReplyDeleteYeah -that was me. The woman requested soft and everyone always wants easy care. Yes, a time and a place. I'm guessing that my daughter and her hubby will want knits for the baby to be to be knit with superwash . Ah well, it's wool. :-)
